Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
2. Design and develop user-friendly Android applications that meet the business requirements and user needs.
3. Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend services that support the mobile applications.
4. Seamlessly integrate third-party APIs and libraries as needed, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
5. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot any issues related to API integration.
6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our products.
7. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to coding standards.
8. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in Android app development using Kotlin or Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and development tools.
• Extensive experience with RESTful API design and development, including OAuth2 authentication.
• Proficiency in backend development using languages like Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Demonstrated expertise in API integration and working with various types of APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with databases and data modeling.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
