- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Back-end programming such as PHP.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming
- Understanding of relational and nonrelational databases.
- Problem-solving attitude and excellent communication.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, PHP, and Liquid.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in both WordPress and Shopify development.
- Familiarity with Shopify and WordPress APIs, themes, plugins, and extensions.
- Execute custom theme development, plugin/module integration, and third-party API implementation.
- WordPress core architecture.
- WooCommerce and other e-commerce extensions.
- Customize and extend CMS functionalities to meet specific project requirements.
- Integrate e-commerce solutions, payment gateways, and third-party services seamlessly.
- Identify and resolve issues promptly, conducting thorough testing to ensure stability.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex technical problems with agility.
- Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard web applications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior developers.
- Conducting WordPress training with the client.
- Webflow, HubSpot, and Square Space are a plus.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Web Developer.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify, WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Liquid programming is highly desirable.
- Understanding of web development best practices and UX/UI principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies is a plus.
- Custom plugins and Shopify private app development.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
