Job Description
Gharbaar.com is looking for an analytical, results-driven Back End Developer (PHP) who will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current applications and processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
- Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
- Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
- Convert the given designs into functional websites using CMS, Bootstrap, Jquery, HTML5 or any given technology
- Fix bugs in front-end/back-end code.
- Taking lead on projects, as needed.
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
Requirements:
- Proficient in custom PHP and strong concepts of OOP.
- Experience in common third-party APIs/Payment Gateways (Google, Facebook, 2checkout, Paypal, etc).
- Experienced building web-based applications and scripts with proven portfolio work.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Good knowledge of web server.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
- Experience in integrating different web services.
- Must have solid understanding and hands on experience of Responsive Layouts.
- The candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility(Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari & Opera), general web functions and standards.
- Should be able to work independently and as a team player.
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s in Computer Science (HEC recognized university).
Experience: 1.5-2 years of related experience in a lead position.
Salary Package: 80k - 100k.
