Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Shopify Developer to join our team who will be responsible for building interactive, engaging, and competent Shopify stores and Shopify app development to meet the expectations of stakeholders.
Education & Professional Qualification:
Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelors or Masters Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an associated field.
Certification(s): Not mandatory, but certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Experience:
3+ years of relevant experience as a Shopify App Developer
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Shopify apps using Shopifys API and app development tools.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and define app functionality, features, and specifications.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs to extend the functionality of Shopify apps.
- Implement robust and scalable backend logic for Shopify apps, including database management, server-side functionality, and RESTful API design.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of Shopify apps.
- Optimize app performance and address scalability challenges.
- Stay updated with Shopifys latest APIs, features, and best practices to leverage them in app development.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and designers to ensure seamless integration of app interfaces with Shopify themes.
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients using Shopify apps.
- Document app development processes, configurations, and APIs for future reference and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Proven experience in Shopify app development, including a strong portfolio of successful Shopify apps.
