Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and efficiency by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, streamline processes, and optimize performance. Experience
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Education & Professional Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification(s): Not mandatory but certification in a relevant field will be considered a plus (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and objectives.
- Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
- Develop process models, flowcharts, and diagrams to visualize and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed requirement specifications, including user stories, use cases, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements.
- Ensure clarity, completeness, and feasibility of requirements.
- Engage with stakeholders to validate requirements, clarify ambiguities, and resolve conflicts.
- Facilitate effective communication between business users, developers, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide input on system design, user interface, and data models to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Use data visualization techniques to present findings and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
- Support the testing phase by developing test cases, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring that solutions meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with QA teams to resolve issues and perform defect tracking.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes on business processes, systems, and stakeholders.
- Develop change management strategies and support the implementation of new processes and technologies.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends.
- Identify process optimisation, automation, and innovation opportunities to drive operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role (preferably in e-commerce projects/products)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of business process modelling techniques (e.g., BPMN) and tools.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience in data analysis, including data modelling, SQL queries, and data visualisation tools (Google BigQuery, Data Studio, Power BI …).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and teams.
- Robust documentation and presentation skills to create clear and concise requirement specifications.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Business acumen and understanding of industry-specific challenges and trends.
