To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a software business development role, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment. You should also have a proven record of closing deals and a strong understanding of sales and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generating and pursuing leads through platforms like Upwork, Direct contact, or other sources.
- Creating persuasive and well-written proposals to convince clients to award new projects to the company.
- Qualifying leads by gathering information about potential customers and determining their level of interest in the company's services.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing customers.
- Assisting in R&D and preparation and delivery of sales presentations and business proposals.
- Tracking and reporting on business development activities and progress.
To thrive in this position, you should possess:
- 2+ years of experience in sales and business development in a web2/web3 space.
- Experience in lead generation via platforms Upwork and LinkedIn.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, tech startup environment.
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Web/Mobile Development Processes, Private/Public Blockchains, and Cloud Solutions.
- Knowledge of Decentralized Identity and Decentralized Finance.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English language.
