Airvon is looking for a Business Development Account Executive will focus on acquiring new business and managing relationships with existing clients to drive growth in the company’s software development services. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical understanding, strong communication skills, and experience in consultative selling. The role involves identifying customer needs, developing customized solutions, and building long-term relationships to maximize revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales
• Identify and qualify leads by engaging with potential customers and partners across various industries.
• Understand the full scope of software development services offered (e.g., custom development, product design, mobile apps, SaaS solutions) and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals.
• Work with the technical and delivery teams to create and present proposals, RFIs, and RFPs.
• Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with existing clients to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor for their software and technology needs.
• Proactively address any concerns or issues to maintain strong client retention.
3. Market Research & Strategy
• Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and target markets.
• Monitor competitors and industry developments to refine sales strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to drive campaigns and lead-generation activities.
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote the company’s brand.
4. Deal Closure
• Understand the needs and pain points of the client, and ensure you have all necessary documentation ready, such as contracts or proposals.
• Establish a strong relationship with the client, as trust is crucial in decision-making.
• Be prepared to address any concerns or objections the client may have. This might involve clarifying terms, providing additional information, or adjusting the proposal.
• Use effective closing techniques, such as the assumptive close (assuming the client is ready to move forward) or the alternative close (offering choices).
• Once both parties agree, ensure that the contract is properly signed and that all legalities are addressed.
• After the deal is closed, maintain communication to ensure a smooth implementation and to foster a long-term relationship.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in IT services industry.
• Proven track record of closing sales deals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Skilled in negotiating contracts and managing client expectations.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
