We are seeking a Business Development Consultant with a strong background in interior design to join our dynamic team. This role requires someone with exceptional communication skills, a passion for furniture and design solutions, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. The ideal candidate is confident, creative, and can easily translate interior design expertise into business development strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential clients in the residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and industry partners to grow the company's network.
- Consultation & Design Understanding: Leverage your interior design expertise to offer personalized solutions tailored to the specific needs and aesthetics of clients.
- Sales & Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and lead-generation initiatives.
- Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver high-quality business proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients.
- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends in the interior design and furniture industries to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the design, production, and sales teams to ensure client requirements are met and projects are executed successfully.
- Networking & Events: Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s brand and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, client relations, or sales in the interior design or furniture industry.
- Strong understanding of interior design concepts, space planning, and furniture solutions.
- Confident communicator with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively negotiate and close deals.
- A strong sense of style and design, with the ability to present ideas visually and verbally.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to connect with key stakeholders in the industry.
