Job Description
As a Business Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and foster relationships with key stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective business development strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Generate leads and develop a strong pipeline of prospective customers
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and partners
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials
- Present and demonstrate our products/services to prospective clients
- Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
- Track and report on sales metrics, market trends, and competitors' activities
- Stay updated with industry developments and identify new business opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the software industry, preferably in business development or sales roles
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong understanding of software products and services, with the ability to articulate their value to clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
