Business Development Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (2 years experience) with expertise in Email Marketing and B2B Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth through effective email marketing campaigns and B2B sales strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business development initiatives and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, b2b sales channels and job portals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries to understand their needs and position our offerings effectively.
  • Create and execute email marketing campaigns to generate leads, nurture prospects, and drive conversions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for business development efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to prospects, highlighting the value proposition of our products/services.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive long-term partnerships.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and campaign effectiveness to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on sales activities, pipeline status, and business development initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven track record of success in business development, email marketing, and B2B sales, preferably in services business.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, and automation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving growth and innovation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
