Business Development Manager

Job Description

As a Business Development Manager at Iconic Orbit, you will be responsible for driving business growth and building strong client relationships. Your role is critical in identifying new sales opportunities, generating leads, and exceeding commercial targets. You'll be leading the sales efforts, building a high-performing team, and ensuring the continuous growth of the business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales objectives and achieve commercial budgets and targets.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities while building lasting client relationships.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Conduct monthly sales reviews and quarterly business reviews with sales teams.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and ensure the achievement of monthly/quarterly sales objectives.
  • Recognize and reward top achievers, and manage performance when needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and perform competitor analysis regularly.
  • Identify new business opportunities by following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
  • Generate new business by meeting potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering relevant solutions.
  • Manage the sales process to close new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Set and drive weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets for the team.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, emailing, and other lead generation activities.
  • Handle incoming queries and develop strong client relationships.
  • Qualify leads by identifying decision-makers and understanding their requirements.
  • Hand over qualified leads to the sales team with the goal of closing the sale.
  • Maintain and update the lead generation database.
  • Achieve weekly/monthly targets as set by the business.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a B2B Sales, Account Executive, Inside Sales, or Sales Development Representative role, ideally within the IT Services, or Software industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly goal-driven and motivated to achieve success.
