We are looking for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for pitching, onboarding, and acquiring new clients for our software solutions. This role requires a strong sales background, the ability to communicate the value of software products effectively, and a track record of closing deals.
As a key part of our sales team, you will generate leads, deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships with clients. You must have a deep understanding of the software industry, SaaS, and IT services to identify and approach potential clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and target potential clients in need of custom software solutions.
- Develop and deliver effective sales pitches to key decision-makers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our software solutions.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Work closely with the marketing team to generate leads through digital marketing, networking, and outbound sales strategies.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the company’s reach.
2. Client Acquisition & Onboarding
- Convert leads into long-term business relationships.
- Handle negotiations, contract discussions, and pricing agreements.
- Provide clients with necessary onboarding support, coordinating with the technical team for seamless software implementation.
- Ensure client satisfaction and a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
3. Relationship Management & Customer Retention
- Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure continued satisfaction.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on client needs.
- Act as a primary point of contact for any client concerns or escalations.
- Gather feedback and work with the internal team to improve software offerings.
4. Sales Strategy & Market Insights
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new software technologies.
- Provide regular reports and sales forecasts to the leadership team.
- Work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the software or IT industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical software solutions and translate them into business value for clients.
- Strong relationship management and networking skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
