Job Description
PlomX TECH is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding our client base through various freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Fiver, Guru and freelancer.com. You will play a crucial role in driving growth and revenue by identifying and engaging with potential clients, building strong relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in business development and a deep understanding of freelancing platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products/services (Software development/IT Services) and effectively communicate their value propositions to potential clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and engage potential clients on LinkedIn and Upwork.
- Experience with Quality project selection and bidding.
- Create compelling proposals, bids, and pitches tailored to the requirements of each project or client.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define project scopes, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Writing proposals and customizing each proposal based on the nature of the project.
- Submit bids within the stipulated time frame and follow up with the clients to increase the chances of winning the project.
- Build and maintain a strong professional network on these platforms to foster long-term relationships and generate business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in the IT industry.
- Proactively reach out to prospects through messaging, connection requests, and proposal submissions.
- Identify and pursue new sales leads, including networking and building relationships with potential customers and partners.
- Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver customized solutions that meet customer needs.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, technologies, and client needs.
- Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers.
- Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and Upwork's features, algorithms, and best practices for lead generation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, including lead generation, sales conversion rates, and revenue growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/CS/IT.
- At least 2+ years of experience in business development in the IT industry.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Deep understanding of the IT industry, including emerging trends and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Should have knowledge of Web Design and Development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
