Business Development Officer

Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Officer. The role comprises developing new business opportunities, analyzing market trends and financial data, communicating effectively with clients, and maintaining customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Generate New Leads and Customers: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand our client base.
  • Manage Existing Clients: Nurture and maintain relationships with our current clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and addressing any concerns or needs they may have.
  • Pitch to Prospective Clients: Develop persuasive pitches and presentations to engage potential clients and showcase our services effectively.
  • Fill Tenders: Take charge of the tendering process, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to secure new business opportunities.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Development
  • Experience in the paper and packaging industry is an added advantage
