Business Development Officer (bdo)

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Officer (BDO) to join our growing e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with potential clients and vendors to drive business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients and vendors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.

Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.

Negotiate and close deals to achieve revenue targets.

Market Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

Analyze competitor activities and develop effective counter-strategies.

Stay updated on industry developments and best practices.

Client Management:

Manage existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Proactively address client concerns and issues.

Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, finance) to achieve business objectives.

Share insights and knowledge with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

 

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven track record in business development and sales.

Strong understanding of the e-commerce industry and its trends.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Self-motivated and results-oriented.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
