We are seeking a talented Business Development Representative (BDR) - Research and Outreach Specialist.
Experience Level: 2-3 year
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential leads and target accounts using various sources such as online databases, social media platforms, and industry publications.
- Analyze and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria, ensuring alignment with the company's target market and ideal customer profile.
- Utilize research findings to customize outreach strategies and develop personalized messaging for effective communication with prospects.
- Execute outbound calls to initiate contact with identified leads, introducing company products or services and gauging interest or needs.
- Document all research findings, lead interactions, and progress updates accurately in the CRM system to maintain up-to-date records.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to refine targeting criteria, optimize outreach efforts, and improve lead generation strategies.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of research and outreach activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a business development or sales support role, with a focus on research and outbound communication.
- Strong research skills with the ability to gather and analyze information from diverse sources to identify potential leads and market trends.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including active listening, articulation, and persuasion.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for lead management and tracking.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining accurate and organized records of research findings and lead interactions.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a B2B sales environment, preferably within the technology, software, or professional services industry.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies and best practices for lead generation and qualification.
- Previous experience in cold calling or outbound sales outreach.
- Knowledge of market research techniques and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
