Job Description
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities through proactive outreach and lead generation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the sales process, and a drive to succeed. As a BDR, you will be crucial in building relationships with potential clients and positioning our products/services to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Conduct research to identify potential clients and generate a robust pipeline of leads.
- Cold Calling & Outreach: Initiate outbound calls, emails, and social media messages to introduce the company’s offerings.
- Qualifying Leads: Assess the potential of each lead, identify key decision-makers, and set appointments for senior sales representatives.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with prospects and maintain regular follow-up communication.
- Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of the company’s products/services to present solutions and address client inquiries effectively.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to strategize and refine the lead qualification process.
- CRM Management: Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of interactions and progress with prospects in the CRM system.
- Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and sales goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role (experience in IT is a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of energy, initiative, and commitment to success.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle rejection and persist through challenges.
