Business Development Representative

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Make cold calls throughout the day to set up meetings/discovery calls with potential prospects.
  • Utilize LinkedIn for prospecting, outreach, and engagement with key decision-makers.
  • Research and identify potential clients, industries, and market trends.
  • Build conversations naturally without relying on rigid scripts.
  • Qualify leads based on company criteria and schedule appointments for senior sales teams.
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Work closely with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competition, and best practices in IT sales and business development.

 

Requirements:

  • Mandatory: Prior experience in business development or sales in the IT industry.
  • Proven ability to conduct cold calling and outbound sales prospecting.
  • Strong experience in using LinkedIn for outreach, networking, and lead generation.
  • Understanding of prospecting techniques, lead generation, and the sales cycle.
  • Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and sales prospecting software.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify potential clients.
  • Excellent communication skills—confident in engaging prospects without a script.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to handle rejection with resilience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a sales team.
  • Must be willing to work US working hours.
