Business Development Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Upwork Bidder to join our team full-time at our Karachi office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully bidding for and winning projects on Upwork. The primary focus will be securing profitable opportunities to expand our client base and grow the business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement bidding strategies on Upwork to win new projects.
  • Achieve monthly targets for both the number of won projects and total revenue generated.
  • Get on calls with clients to discuss project details and finalize proposals.
  • Maintain high levels of communication with potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored proposals.
  • Collaborate with the project management and technical teams to ensure proposals are feasible and aligned with company capabilities.
  • Analyze market trends and client requirements to tailor bids accordingly.
  • Monitor and respond to client feedback on Upwork to improve proposal strategies.
  • Manage multiple bids/projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in bidding on platforms like Upwork, with a documented track record of securing projects.
  • Strong understanding of the IT and software development industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
