Job Description
DataCrumbs is seeking a Business Intelligence Instructor for a part-time remote role. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of hands-on experience in data modeling, dashboard creation, ETL processes, and data warehousing, and a passion for teaching these concepts to students. As an instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, guiding students through practical exercises, and providing mentorship to ensure they gain real-world Business Intelligence skills.
Responsibilities
- Teach data modeling, dashboard creation, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts to a diverse group of students
- Design and deliver course materials, practical exercises, and assessments that help students build BI solutions
- Provide one-on-one mentorship and feedback to help students apply analytical and technical concepts
- Stay updated on the latest BI tools and technologies to incorporate them into the curriculum
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment to help students succeed in their careers
Qualifications
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and ETL processes
- Strong analytical skills and experience in creating dashboards for data-driven decision-making
- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
- Excellent communication and teaching skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Certifications in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics are a plus
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is highly desirable
