Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled CMS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate must be an expert in WordPress, Shopify and other CMS platforms, with proven experience in plugin development, theme customization, and optimization for user experience. You will be responsible for creating, customizing, and maintaining CMS-driven websites that meet client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including theme development and plugin customization.
- Work with other CMS platforms such as Shopify, Wix, SquareSpace, and more.
- Create and implement custom WordPress plugins and themes as per client needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMS websites.
- Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO.
- Ensure cross-browser, cross-device compatibility.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Manage database and server-side development for CMS-based websites.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a CMS Developer with a strong focus on WordPress.
- Extensive experience with theme customization and plugin development.
- Knowledge of other CMS platforms like Wix, Shopify, SquareSpace is a plus.
- Strong command of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Familiarity with MySQL databases and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills:
- Experience in WooCommerce and other eCommerce plugins.
- Understanding of SEO best practices.
- Experience in version control (Git).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and CDNs.
