We at EvolveDash are hiring a Content Editor to join our creative team to help us keep growing. Your ultimate goal will be to provide exceptional, informative, and appealing content to attract our targeted audience and build customer loyalty. You will perform a range of tasks including evaluating proofs, fact-checking, analyzing content, and generating story ideas.As the editor, you will demonstrate a good eye for detail and know-how to manage all the moving parts of the website, social media, and content marketing. To excel in this position, the successful candidate will also possess excellent communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manages a team of writers and is responsible for curating fresh, relevant, and informative content.
- Helps the team craft and refine ideas, cultivate sources, report, and write articles on a daily basis.
- Prepare, rewrite and edit copy to improve readability, or supervise others who do this work.
- Read copy or proof to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
- Edit a variety of targeted content that aligns with the content marketing objectives and audiences.
- Optimize content based on SEO Guidelines such as keyword research and link-building.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent English writing skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO and social media best practices.
- Understanding of latest Tech, Social Media, Web, Business, Finance, and Digital Marketing trends.
- Comfortable with frequent cross-functional and senior management contact
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in English language or literature only from a reputable university.
- 1 to 4 years demonstrated excellence in content creation or editing
- Experience in technical writing is a plus
