The company is looking for a Creative Content Writer with an expertise with SEO.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Research and write articles for the blog: Conduct thorough research on various topics and create engaging, informative, and well-structured articles for the company's blog. Ensure the content is accurate, relevant, and aligns with the target audience's interests.
  • Develop content strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a content strategy that supports the overall marketing goals and objectives of the company. Identify target audience personas, keywords, and content themes to drive organic traffic and engagement.
  • Create and manage editorial calendar: Plan, organize, and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content. Coordinate with different stakeholders to gather input and schedule content releases accordingly.
  • Write marketing copy: Craft persuasive marketing copy for various channels, including emails, social media posts, landing pages, sales copy, and advertisements. Tailor the messaging to resonate with the target audience and drive desired actions.
  • Optimize content for SEO: Conduct keyword research and apply best practices to optimize blog articles and other content for search engine visibility. Implement on-page SEO techniques, such as using relevant meta tags, headers, and internal/external links.
  • Edit and proofread content: Review and edit content created by other writers or contributors to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines. Proofread content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors before publication.
  • Monitor content performance: Track and analyze key metrics, such as website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates, to evaluate the effectiveness of content initiatives. Use data insights to make informed decisions and continually improve content strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with designers, marketers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather information, provide guidance, and coordinate content creation efforts. Maintain effective communication channels to ensure alignment and successful project completion.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Content Writer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Expertise in crafting content for different formats and platforms with an understanding of audience segmentation.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate across departments.
  • Experience in managing content calendars and working with content management systems (CMS).
  • Familiarity with multimedia content creation (videos, infographics, podcasts, etc.).
