Therefore, to execute these tasks we require Data Analyst to join a high performing and professional Operations team at Islamabad. The Data Analyst will take responsibility for the following duties:
· Prepare data structures, refine, and categorise data with respect to investment portfolios.
· Be an expert user of Microsoft Excel in order to Integrate excel spreadsheets with Portfolio Management System and monitor results.
· Update and apply Macros to bring long term compatibility of spreadsheets with Portfolio Management System.
· Highlight errors and inefficiencies and perform necessary changes to remove errors.
· Collect data from multiple sources/Banks and aligning it on uniform basis to keep it compatible and consolidate and prepare meaningful analysis.
· Working keenly on the data sets, reaching out to data owners and data originator and maintain smooth stream of data flows.
· Perform data cleansing to remove trash from the system to keep the data meaningful.
· Provide data statistics and analysis on monthly basis or as required by the business. · Review and monitor data feeds.
· Document data upload and integration process and making the other team members aware of dataflows.
· Investigate data/performance related queries raised by the team
· Continuously work on improving the data workflows across various departments
Skill Sets Required
• Qualified to graduate level from a recognised university with majors in Finance, Banking or Management Data Analysis, Data management.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience of handling and working on bulk and unstructured data, data visualisation at a banking or financial institution or finance department of reputed organisation.
• A strong knowledge of MS-Excel (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
• Good working knowledge of data management tools.
• Minimum 2 years of prior experience of working on any management software or Accounting Software or Data Management System.
• Macro writing and/or VBA is an advantage.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
