Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in Python, mathematics, statistics, and data analysis. As a key member of our data science team, you will lead advanced analytics projects, uncover valuable insights, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute end-to-end data science projects, from problem definition to model deployment.
- Apply advanced mathematical concepts to formulate and develop models for complex business problems.
- Utilize mathematical techniques for optimization, simulation, and other analytical methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Utilize statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract insights and predict outcomes.
- Conduct hypothesis testing and statistical validation of models
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science.
- Develop and implement data quality and data governance processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of analytical models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams IT and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and integrate data science solutions into existing systems and processes.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in data science methodologies, tools, and infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge with Python, SQL, R, and data visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire, Tableau, etc) and mapping tools
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
- Familiarity with big data technologies is a plus.
- Strong background in mathematical concepts and statistical methods to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Expertise in Python programming for data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
- Extensive experience in exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and other data preprocessing techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their practical applications.
- Proven ability to approach business problems analytically and provide innovative data-driven solutions.
