Job Description
Tasks and responsabilities:
- Collaborate with the project manager, business analyst and Salesforce team to analyze SES requirements;
- Design and implement new roll-up calculations in collaboration with the in-house backend team and the project manager;
- Integrate with Azure ADF pipelines to facilitate the extraction, movement, and loading of Salesforce data;
- Write UNIX/LINUX Korn shell scripts to schedule data processing and data loads;
- Enhance PL/SQL and TSQL procedures in Oracle and Azure SQL DB/Synapse respectively to maintain and enhance SES structures;
- Perform unit testing to ensure the salesforce data integration into UNICEF data warehouse;
- Maintain existing SES instances that are already deployed on Oracle databases and the Azure cloud databases (Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Synapse);
- Write documentation to describe the process and to record production configuration including ER models, data models, and production procedures;
- Regularly monitor the data loads and tune performance as needed for the SES refresh database and reporting environment;
Profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree;
- +4 years or more hands-on experience in PL/SQL development on Oracle;
- +4 years or more hands-on experience in T-SQL development on Azure SQL;
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce and data integration in Oracle and Azure Synapse;
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle internals and database tuning including hands-on experience creating database schemas, tablespaces, and all other related DDL;
- Proven experience in UNIX/LINUX shell scripting;
- Knowledge of ETL with hands-on experience using ETL;
- Knowledge of cloud tools with experience using Microsoft Azure, preferably Azure ADF;
- Knowledge of sales cloud and marketing cloud, as well as Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) language;
- Experience with the complete systems development lifecycle process;
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
- Ability to write technical documentation (use cases, configuration instructions, and models) for both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Ability to work with a team as well as independently in an overall multi-cultural environment and gender sensitive work environment;
- Fluent in English;
