Job Description
Job responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using DevOps, enabling efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaaC) using Azure Resource Manager templates or similar tools to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to automate and improve the build, deployment, and release processes.
- Create and manage release definitions, deployment strategies, and configurations within DevOps.
- Implement security best practices within the DevOps environment, ensuring data protection and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline and deployment issues, and implement solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Stay updated with the latest DevOps features and trends to propose and implement relevant enhancements.
Required Skills:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the relevant field.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
- Extensive experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines within DevOps.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git/GitLab and its integration with DevOps.
- Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and infrastructure components.
- Previous involvement in implementing security practices and compliance within Azure environments.
- Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for infrastructure provisioning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Relevant Azure certifications such as Microsoft/AWS Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or related certifications would be a plus.
- Experience with AWS Services would be a plus.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Working Experience in IIS
- Jenkins & GitLab CI
- Experience and knowledge in network protocols (e.g. WINS, DNS, TCP/IP)
- Familiarity with cloud networking and traffic management (VPCs, load balancers, network segregation)
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting and problem resolution is desired.
- Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking.
