Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather measurement requirements, business questions, and challenges from marketing and sales teams and identify opportunities to apply advanced data analysis to deliver actionable insights and recommendations in the review and optimization of strategic and operational performance. Ultimately to support data-driven marketing value capture
- Exploratory data analyses and investigations to solve problems from ideation to production, using machine learning
- Presenting findings, results, recommendations, and ultimately performance metrics to a broad range of stakeholders, including senior management; communicating and delivering complex analysis effectively to tell a story from business problems to recommendations and results
- Working with IT and Reporting teams to identify and develop relevant data sources
- Operationalize and industrialize statistical models to ensure appropriate levels of performance metrics are met, and models are adopted and maintained within each region, within new, advanced BI dashboards, where relevant
- Evangelizing all practices and policies and providing ongoing support and training to ensure effective interpretation of insight resources across the marketing organization
- Ensuring insight, models, and analyses meet and are aligned with strategic objectives Prioritizing projects to reflect organizational priorities
- Where relevant, working with external suppliers to deliver marketing evaluation projects
Collaborative Relationships:
- The role holder will work with the Marketing Operations team, media, web and IT team, and Marketing team
- The role holder will focus on supporting marketing performance optimization across the range of brand activation and demand generation activities including e.g. analysis of paid and non-paid activities such as PPC, display, social, SEO, and affiliate channels
- Liaise with other internal departments within regions, as necessary
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
- Demonstrated knowledge of brand campaigns, tactical campaigns, and online trends
- Keen news judgment - the ability to manage global, macro, alongside micro details on trends
- Proficiency in social media channels, especially Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and others Proficiency in reporting tools
