Job Description
As the Social Media Account Manager, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning and proactively managing client’s social networks, providing marketing solutions, and connecting with them to build trusted relationships. Agency experience or managing multiple clients is a requirement for this position.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Account & Proactive Content Management
- Maintain and build client relationships by identifying growth opportunities and value-added social media/digital marketing solutions.
- Work with clients to understand their needs and with internal team to formulate ideas, plan, strategize and create content, for their paid Facebook and Instagram ads.
- Client Nurturing and growth - Be the main point of contact for day-to-day operations with clients and communicate with them regularly to provide updates.
- Conduct Community engagement for clients, help them to grow followers.
- Continuous communication with client & internal team throughout the month on campaigns.
Campaign Strategy
- Manage clients planning sessions to set objectives for content, themes and ads.
- Provide ongoing support and solutions on Social Media content & paid social Ads to ensure objectives are being met.
- Assist clients & the Social Know How® team on the development and execution of social media strategies.
Ads Management
- Create, administer and execute relevant paid social media strategies on Facebook, Instagram, etc. to increase brand exposure and lead generation.
- Conduct A/B Testing to measure, analyze and optimize the value of the campaign throughout.
Responsive Reporting
- Track social media campaigns to ensure they are achieving intended results.
- Research competitors and trends.
- Analyze and report on KPI’s.
- Deliver reporting & analytics to clients & team.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, social media, Public Relations, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in social media marketing/ digital marketing
- Extensive knowledge of the inner workings of the majority of these social media networks including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
- Experience creating and executing Paid Facebook/Instagram advertising campaigns
- Experience working with social media management tools such as Facebook Business Manager, Facebook Insights, Hootsuite, etc.
- Working with project management software tools an asset but not required
- Demonstrates an ability to understand social media metrics and reporting skills
- Exceptional communication skills; both written and spoken;
- Copywriting experience considered an asset but not required.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, etc.) an asset.
