Job Description
We are looking for a great Django Developer who is proficient with Python and Django, has at least 2 years of relevant experience. Your primary role will be on developing microservices, while ensuring good code practices and architecture. You will have end to end ownership of the services you develop, to ensure it is robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, and quality product is important.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing code & solutions as per requirements.
- Developing robust micro services and applications with Django as backend.
- Integrating and maintaining Python services.
- Writing unit tests for 100% code coverage.
- Owning micro services DevOps tasks, like deploying through K8s & Docker Skills Required.
- Strong relevant experience of at least 2 years.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Django.
- Proficient on modelling applications on both RDBMS and NOSQL databases.
- Deep knowledge of relevant protocols like HTTP, HTTP2, TLS etc. and REST design.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools specially Git.
- Clear understanding of SDLCs and deployment strategies.
