Job Description

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications. They should be comfortable coding in a number of languages (with expertise in ASP.net MVC) and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software applications using the ASP.NET MVC framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, architecture, and user manuals.
• Troubleshoot and debug software defects and performance issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Identify system improvements and suggest enhancements and monitor application performance and recommend optimizations for better scalability and efficiency.

Essential Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience with .Net technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, and Asp.net MVC.
• Sound knowledge of relational databases such as SQL.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Desired Criteria

• Experience in nopCommerce is a plus.
• Knowledge of mobile app development or hybrid frameworks (React Native).
• Familiarity with front-end languages such as jQuery, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
