Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Dotnet Developer at Intercargo Logistics in Islamabad. The Dotnet Developer will be responsible for software development, utilizing .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and object-oriented programming principles on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Software Development skills
- .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC proficiency
- Programming experience
- Backend APIs Creation/Consumption
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Experience with creating and maintaining efficient code
Required Technical Skills:
1. .NET & C# Expertise
- Strong knowledge of .NET Core/5+ and ASP.NET Core.
- Proficient in C# programming, including advanced features like LINQ, async/await, and OOP principles.
2. API Development
- Building and consuming RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
- Knowledge of Web API security (JWT, OAuth, authentication/authorization).
3. Database & Data Access
- Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core for ORM and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Proficient in SQL and writing efficient queries, stored procedures.
4. Asynchronous Programming
- Expertise in async/await for non-blocking I/O operations.
- Knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing in C#.
5. Cloud & Deployment
- Experience deploying applications on Azure (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL).
6. Microservices & Messaging
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and API Gateway (e.g., Ocelot).
- Familiar with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
7. Authentication & Security
- Implementing OAuth2, JWT, and role-based access control.
- Knowledge of ASP.NET Identity for user management
8. Version Control
- Proficient in Git for source control and collaboration.
9. DevOps & CI/CD
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
