Job Description
This role is primarily responsible for translating learning needs into high quality, best-in-class program design and learning content and working with key stakeholders in advising on training needs, best practices, system capabilities, assignments, and roll out strategy. It will also provide Learning Management System (LMS) administration, technical support, and reporting of learning programs.
Responsibilities
- The Learning Developer will work collaboratively, in partnership with the CVO/ Team Lead, to build engaging, best-in-class learning content.
- Creates system training including interactive, animated videos that teach users in short learning intervals.
- Leverages knowledge from adult learning theories, design guidelines, and technical knowledge to create visually appealing and engaging trainings.
- Can provide direction and advice on which training materials and modalities best fit the project’s learning needs.
- Has the ability to translate Subject Matter Expert knowledge and vision into on-demand learning that engages the learner and keeps them coming back.
- Researches and stays on top of learning industry design best practices.
- Build surveys, assessments, and evaluation tools for learning activities and evaluate learner feedback, leveraging it to improve learning design and delivery.
- Create and update SOP of current and new processes.
- Perform complex tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, procedures, and SOX & internal controls.
- Resolve identified issues and keep the Team Lead updated for open or ongoing concerns.
- Work with Team Lead to develop process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity.
- Develop and prepare reports, analyses, and presentations for periodic and ad hoc requirements.
- Lead and support key projects, audit reviews, activities, and documentation.
- Must be open for full-time and EVENING SHIFT .
Qualifications
- 2+ years of working experience with Instructional Design best practices and proven track record of building video-based training content using Captivate, Storyline, Rise, and/or Adobe InDesign or other graphic design software.
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.
- Understands LMS functionality with ability to troubleshoot and resolve SCORM technical issues
- Comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment
- Preferred HTML or digital design and development experience.
- Ability to learn new systems and technical skills quickly
- Proficient knowledge of adult learning theories and training methodologies
- Process management and improvements skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
- Experience in use of JIRA, would be an advantage
