We are looking for a contract-based, on-site Embedded Hardware/Software Engineer in Islamabad. The Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing embedded hardware and software solutions. Daily responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and debugging embedded systems, working closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring system performance and reliability. The role also requires maintaining documentation and keeping up to date with industry standards and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in custom hardware bring-up and troubleshooting
5+ years of experience with FreeRTOS, Microchip MCUs, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, USB, analog front-end, and EMI/EMC filtering in high-power and high-frequency boards
At least 2+ years of experience working with Zynq FPGA SoC, USB, SPI, I2C, memory cards, HDMI, and Ethernet peripherals
At least 2+ years of experience in analog circuit design for medium- to high-frequency communication
At least 3+ years of experience in PCB design using Altium Designer.
Ability to spend extended hours addressing hardware issues and system bring-up
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Capability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and documentation skills
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field is preferred
