Job Description
We are looking to hire an experienced Business Development Officer /Bidding expert who possesses the skills required to bring on new clientele. The ideal candidate must have confidence and discipline to cold-call potential customers, as well as should possess consultative selling skills to engage potential customers in accordance to their needs and how our services can provide a solution for them. He/She will be responsible for generating leads through phone calls, social media and emails.
Education & Professional Qualification:
- Degree(s)/Major(s): Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or similar field
- Certification(s): Not mandatory, but certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Experience:
- 6 months to 3 Years proven work experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Generate business through online portals like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer etc.
- Find the right jobs and write proposals for them.
- Analyze client requirements and provide appropriate estimates.
- Explore and develop new business opportunities, understand clients requirements and acquisition.
- Project price estimation, quote, proposal creation, client communication follow up with existing or new prospects.
- Experience with Lead generation through Linkedin and other marketing tools would be an added value.
- Collect and analyze the project’s business requirements and transfer the same knowledge to the development team.
- Assist in enforcing project deadlines and schedules.
- Communicate with clients through voice/Video calls.
- Manage cold email campaigns to nurture leads.
- Document information according to standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics.
- Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
- Solid knowledge of sales management and B2B sales pipeline management.
- Excellent research, prospecting and sales planning skills.
- Exceptional communication and time management skills.
- Multi-Tasking and the capability to work with teams are essential.
- Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Follow instructions clearly and accurately within a timely fashion.
- Proactive and enthusiastic about delivering positive results.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices.
- Command on Freelancing platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer)
