Frontend Developer

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts.
Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code using Next.js or other JavaScript frameworks.
Work alongside the backend developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.
Monitor and improve front-end performance and document any changes or updates.
Understand and implement complex business requirements.
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as needed.
Keep abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

Skills:

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model.
Experience with React and Next.js or similar frameworks and libraries.
Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript.
Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
Understanding of RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in front-end development.
