Job Description
We are seeking a highly capable and dependable Full-Stack Engineer to optimize the performance of the VetDrive application. You will be working with an energetic group of engineers to devise exciting solutions. To succeed in this role, you should possess extensive knowledge of Node.js, gained through experience in writing scripts for data export and import across different platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain solutions using Node.js and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Build and maintain APIs and web services to facilitate data exchange between healthcare systems.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services into existing healthcare platforms.
- Write efficient, scalable, and secure code while adhering to industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Document processes, APIs, and workflows for reference and future maintenance.
- Stay up to date with the latest healthcare industry standards and trends related to integration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in developing applications using Node.js and related frameworks such as Express.
- Solid understanding of healthcare standards and protocols such as HL7, etc.
- Experience with healthcare integration platforms and tools (e.g., Mirth Connect, Corepoint Integration Engine).
- Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with databases and ORM frameworks (MongoDB).
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Experience with a front-end framework (such as React, Angular, or Vue) would be considered a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus:
- Previous experience in developing healthcare integration solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS).
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security.
