Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Mobile Games Game Designer to join Arcadian Lab. As a Game Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative, engaging, and enjoyable gameplay experiences for our mobile games. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including artists, developers, and product managers, to design and implement gameplay mechanics, systems, levels, and content that align with the overall vision and goals of our mobile games.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop gameplay mechanics, systems, levels, and content for mobile games, ensuring they are engaging, enjoyable, and aligned with the game's vision and goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including artists, developers, and product managers, to create and implement game design concepts and ideas.
- Create game design documents, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate and iterate on game design ideas.
- Conduct play-testing and gather feedback to continuously iterate and improve gameplay experiences.
- Balance and adjust gameplay mechanics, systems, and content to create a fun and challenging player experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile game design, and apply them to improve the quality and appeal of our mobile games.
- Collaborate with other game designers, artists, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of gameplay elements into the game's development pipeline.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to other team members to enhance the overall quality of the mobile games.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Interactive Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in designing and developing mobile games, with a strong portfolio showcasing your game design skills.
- Proficient in using game design tools and software, such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or other game engines.
- Solid understanding of game design principles, gameplay mechanics, player psychology, and mobile game market trends.
- Strong creativity and problem-solving skills, with the ability to come up with innovative and engaging gameplay ideas.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Passion for mobile games and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
- Ability to give and receive feedback constructively and iteratively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
