We are seeking a highly skilled and imaginative Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Remote Graphic Designer at our company, you will be responsible for crafting compelling book covers and interior pages that complement and enrich the stories told within our publications. With the freedom to work remotely and flexible hours, you will bring your creative talent to engage readers and enhance their journey through captivating stories.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design visually striking book covers that capture the essence of the stories and resonate with the target readership;
- Create captivating layouts for book pages, ensuring an engaging and seamless reading experience for our audience;
- Collaborate closely with the publishing team to understand the vision of each project and translate it into stunning visual designs;
- Maintain a keen eye for typography, colour theory, and other design elements to ensure high-quality and aesthetically pleasing outputs;
- Utilize your design expertise to develop consistent branding across book series and collections;
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail; and
- Prepare and optimize design files for both print and digital formats.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with an outstanding portfolio showcasing your work;
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
- Ability to work remotely and independently, demonstrating self-motivation and a proactive approach; and
- Strong artistic and conceptual skills, with a deep understanding of design principles.
