Skills & Expertise Required

Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant professional knowledge in the banking/NBFI/ financial services/corporate sector with a strong and demonstrated ability to originate transactions, manage client relationships including corporate and government sectors and engage multiple stakeholders. Experience of working in a development finance institution will be an added advantage.
Demonstrated leadership ability; a strategic thinker and effective team leader with professional integrity and strong analytical skills.
Investment banking experience with particular emphasis on infrastructure financing, project finance, and credit, and debt capital markets will be an added benefit.
Track record in the development and implementation of appropriate budgets, business plans, and monitoring of the same to achieve IZP business goals and objectives will be key
Proven track record in the development of a strong business pipeline, via building relationships across multiple stakeholders
Deal structuring know-how, product knowledge, deal-making expertise, capital markets and their financial instruments, relationship management skills, and the ability to develop a business pipeline and maintain relationships with all stakeholders will be key.
Knowledge of presenting funding opportunities to counterparties and a broad understanding of funding requirements and agreements
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
