Position: IT Support Officer
1. Education: Minimum Graduation in Computer Science/Commerce.
2. Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience
Periodical Duties/ Responsibilities:
* Oversee system upgrades and guide IT staff during implementations.
* Manage weekly, monthly, and yearly data backups for data protection.
* Test network servers and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Coordinate with vendors and service providers for warranties, support, and payments.
* Conduct preventive maintenance activities as per SOPs.
* Regularly review and improve processes for IT operations compliance
Functions of the Job Position:
Regular Duties/ Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and support computers, laptops, and peripheral devices.
* Maintain Active Directory, firewalls, switches, access points, and critical servers (Helpdesk, Antivirus, Data Server, DHCP, Office 365).
* Manage the virtualization system (VMware) for efficient performance and scalability.
* Oversee daily operations of the data center, including server, storage, and network management.
* Support and manage audio and video conferencing systems for seamless communication.
* Ensure smooth connectivity between desktops, file servers, email servers, and other systems.
* Maintain IT asset records and ensure data integrity through regular updates.
* Enforce ISO procedures and work instructions related to IT.
