International Business Development Associate

Job Description

 Provide assistance to the IBDM in preparing the sales forecasts and analysis;
 Provide assistance to the IBDM in developing of effective plans for sales campaigns;
 Create a sales pipeline;
 Negotiate deals with the clients;
 Increase international sales of the business and achieve monthly and quarterly project targets;
 Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - and new ways of reaching existing markets;
 Seek out the appropriate contact in the organizations;
 Generate leads and cold call prospective customers;
 Conduct virtual meeting(s) with the international clients and generate business for the company;
 Foster and develop relationships with international clients;
 Understand the needs of the client and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet those needs;
 Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes;
 Implement the promotional strategy and activities developed by the strategic planning department;
 Liaise with the finance team, operations and marketing departments as appropriate;
 Seek ways of improving the way the business operates;
 Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate;
 Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
