Position Overview: As a senior member of our IT team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our systems, ensuring their availability, security, and optimal performance. Your expertise in ISO 27001 compliance and best practices will be crucial in maintaining a secure and efficient IT infrastructure. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the company's IT systems, including servers, networks, databases, and applications, while adhering to ISO 27001 standards and policies.
- Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and proactively resolve them to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all systems and data by implementing and maintaining appropriate security controls and measures in accordance with ISO 27001 guidelines.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address any potential risks or weaknesses in the IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with ISO 27001 requirements.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems, and maintaining accurate documentation of support activities.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in coordination with the IT team and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to ISO 27001 compliance and system support.
- Train and educate employees on information security best practices and raise awareness of ISO 27001 policies and procedures.
- Participate in incident response activities, including investigating security incidents, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with external auditors during ISO 27001 certification audits and assist in addressing any audit findings or recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in system administration, IT support, or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 compliance.
- Strong technical skills in areas such as server administration, network infrastructure, database management, and security systems.
- Proficiency in configuring and supporting Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level networking technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices, including vulnerability management, access controls, encryption, and incident response.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or similar, are highly desirable.
