Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a System Support Engineer located in Karāchi. As a System Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting system issues, managing system administration tasks, ensuring smooth operating system functionality, maintaining and ensure documentation of all service delivery processes within IT department.
Qualifications
- University degree in IT related field from a recognized university
- Relevant experience of at least 2 to 3 years.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
- System Administration experience
- Knowledge of Operating Systems
- Understanding of Network Security
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- To provide central recording and monitoring of all IT resources, incident handling and Desktop / Laptop trouble shooting.
- Look after all administrative work required within IT department.
- Carry out all documentation activities related to equipment purchase, vendor coordination & payment, developing SLA (service level agreement) where required, etc.
- Good communication skills and administrative experience for ensuring coordination and compliance between IT and User department on issues relating to IT service delivery.
- Maintain and understand Service Level Agreement.
- Sound knowledge of IT and capable of providing support for desktop hardware issues, OS or user applications either online or physically.
- Good time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
