Job Description
As a Junior Android Developer, you will collaborate with a team of skilled developers to contribute to the creation and maintenance of Android applications. Your role encompasses translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code, maintaining existing codebases, fixing bugs, and actively participating in the development of new apps. Responsibilities:
- Translate design and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Utilize tools such as Android Studio, Visual Studio, KOTLIN, MVVM, UI-Responsiveness, Material Design Jetpack components, Firebase integration analytics, Live Data with binding, and Coroutines.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Android SDK, various Android versions, and handling different screen sizes.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies to enhance development efficiency.
- Troubleshoot performance scales, object clustering issues, and provide effective debugging solutions.
- Contribute to research and development efforts.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Maintain a proactive approach in dealing with rapid schedules and an ever-evolving business environment.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities, ability to handle pressure, and meet tight timelines.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of NDK/C-make would be advantageous.
- Experience in jetpack compose would be a plus.
- Demonstrable contribution to at least one public repository on GitHub.
- Strong debugging skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience as an Android Developer in Mobile Apps.
