Junior Devops Engineer

Job Description

Alpha Repricer is a SaaS (Software as a Service) tool that provides automated repricing to Amazon sellers at an international level. We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer with 2-3 years’ experience to maintain and coordinate daily operational tasks pertaining to development, execution and deployment of our great product.

More than the technical experience we are seeking an engineer who is hard working, takes his responsibilities seriously and an overall positive attitude. As a DevOps Engineer, you should have the ability to balance several roles in the development process, including computer coding, testing and deployment. You must also have good communication skills to be able to work with other team members to continually update sections of code, and deploy them. 

You must be able to work within a team environment in a respectful and productive way while having fun and growing with the company. A good sense of humor is always appreciated. Required Skills:

•  AWS
• Linux Administration and bash
• Docker, VPN, CI/CD and Ansible concepts
• Must possess interpersonal, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.

Good to have:

• Azure
• Kubernetes
• Terraform/CloudFormation
• Python
• A background in data center migrations is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Participate in designing, building, testing and deploying changes to existing software
• Enhance the company’s IT infrastructure security protocols
• Identify manual processes that can be automated
• Consider the organization’s entire IT infrastructure when making changes and improvements
• Maintain and improve the company’s servers’ infrastructure
• Make sure the system is robust secure from attacks.
• Be able to update sections of software, as well as simultaneously managing changes to other parts of the program.
• Assist team members as needed
