Junior Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations across multiple departments, directly reporting to the Head of Service Delivery. This role is pivotal in ensuring tasks and projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with department heads and clients, creating detailed task lists and ensuring smooth communication across all teams.

 

This position provides an opportunity for growth, with the possibility of evolving into a senior position based on performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, supporting with task delegation and project management.
  • Attend client and internal meetings, take detailed notes, and create comprehensive task lists and roadmaps from the discussions.
  • Assign tasks to relevant teams, including social media, SEO, and paid marketing, ensuring tasks are clear and actionable.
  • Regularly follow up with teams to ensure tasks are completed on time and as per the required standards.
  • Review deliverables from teams, such as social media, SEO, and paid marketing, ensuring they meet the quality standards and are aligned with client expectations.
  • Sign off on completed tasks and projects, ensuring they are ready for submission to the client or management.
  • Coordinate with various departments, including social media, SEO, and marketing, to ensure a smooth workflow and address any roadblocks.
  • Provide feedback and offer solutions for improving processes and task management.
  • Prepare reports for the Head of Service Delivery and management regarding project statuses, potential delays, and task progress.
  • Engage in business calls and represent the company in a professional manner during client meetings.
  • Work directly with clients, presenting deliverables and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of each department's function to effectively oversee task completion and quality control.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in project management or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and punctual with a proactive attitude toward task management.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure accountability within teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
