Virtelligence is seeking a talented PHP Developer with data migration experience. The Data Migration Specialist is responsible for transferring and transforming data from various sources into our system using PHP-based tools and technologies. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our data migration processes.
Assigned responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain PHP scripts and processes for data migration.
- Understanding the data requirements and source systems requires collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Develop mapping rules for migration based on the analysis of data structures and formats of the source data.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data by developing data validation procedures.
- Performance and scalability should be optimized in the data migration process.
- Provide timely resolutions to data migration issues.
- Specify, depend on, and document the data migration processes.
- Learn about the latest trends in data migration and PHP development and stay on top of industry trends.
Minimum requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.
- Expertise in data migration as a PHP Developer.
- Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Zend, Laravel, or Symfony.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Having experience with data modeling, data transformation techniques, and ETL processes.
- An understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies is required.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.
- Working independently and managing multiple tasks at the same time.
Qualifications preferred:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
- A working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- A working knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- A certification in PHP development or a related technology.
