Qa Engineer, Automation

About The Role

Brainstorming with the software developers to determine quality assurance parameters.
Design and create suitable testing environments and test methodologies.
Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
Automate tests to validate application by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
Understand how software requirements relate to overall system requirements and trace them to test-cases.
Develop and maintain automation scripts, infrastructure, and framework to improve test efficiency.
Demonstrate expertise and be the primary resource in resolving test automation infrastructure and framework issues.

Skill set:

4+ years of experience, most recently as a Sr. QA Engineer
Functional testing experience with Zephyr (Good to have) use in particular
Automation experience in developing own automated tests using Selenium-Python and JavaScript is required
Experience of using JIRA
Should be able to understand business requirements and define test cases accordingly
Good to have Salesforce or CRM application QA experience
Must have worked on proper QA process and documentation
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
Experience in different testing strategies and techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies, API Testing
Strong written and verbal communication skills 
Self-motivated, having a passion for learning 
Be able to train junior resources
Strong communication and team skills to coordinate activities between stakeholder groups
Highly desired:
- Experience in testing browser extensions (Chrome, Edge etc)
