Job Description

Join our team as a Roblox Game Developer and be a key player in creating immersive gameplay experiences on the Roblox platform. As part of our innovative team, you will collaborate with talented individuals to develop and implement game features, ensuring high-quality gameplay that engages our global player base.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and artists to develop and implement game features in Roblox Studio

· Write clean, modular Lua code aligned with game design specifications and best practices

· Engage in code reviews, contribute to improving code quality, and propose innovative solutions

· Assist in training junior developers in Roblox Studio and Lua

· Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to effective teamwork and project milestones

· Support the ongoing evolution of Roblox-specific development practices and methodologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Roblox game development with at least 3 published games on the platform
• Proficiency in Lua and experience with Roblox Studio; knowledge of additional programming languages is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
• Basic understanding of server-client architecture within the Roblox environment
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative nature
• Genuine passion for gaming, especially within the Roblox ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Roblox's built-in testing and debugging tools
• Familiarity with creating or utilizing User Generated Content in Roblox
• Previous roles or contributions to Roblox communities or developer forums
• Experience with Roblox monetization strategies, such as Robux transactions and the marketplace
